TRAINING CLASSES INFORMATION

TRAINING CURRICULUM

This fundamental course includes one hundred (100) hours of classroom instruction, lecture, machine practice, manual study, video, powerpoint and hands on practical. In this course you will have performed a minimum of eight (8) permanent cosmetic procedures (eyeliner, eyebrows, and/or lip liner). Classes will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day.

INTRO TO TRAINING COURSE

Introduction and Objective
Fundamental Training Course for Permanent Cosmetics

Thank you for considering Facial Designs Permanent Cosmetics, LLC for your fundamental training in the profession of permanent cosmetics. The Fundamental Training Course is the first step you will be taking to become proficient in the field of permanent cosmetics. To enroll simply download the Application for Enrollment form, complete the form and return it to Facial Designs Permanent Cosmetics with your deposit.  Applicants are required to be minimum age of 18 years and have a high school diploma. It is helpful in this profession to have a steady hand and have some sort of artistry sense and good communication skills.

Our objective is to promote industry excellence by teaching safety and standards to those wishing to learn the art of permanent cosmetics. No more than two students are accepted in enrollment in the same class. This Course will include one hundred (100) hours of lecture, instruction, power point presentations and hands on practical experience.   In this Course the student will have performed a minimum of eight (8) permanent cosmetic procedures to include eyebrow, eyeliner and/or lip liner procedures.  To get the most from this Course, the student must be committed to the program, diligently study each chapter and complete all assignments. 

Facial Designs also offers an Apprenticeship Program for those who desire more training. While your training class includes instruction in many areas pertaining to permanent cosmetics and hands on practical experience, continuing education classes are also highly recommended throughout your profession to stay abreast of the constant changes in the industry.

Our training course follows all SPCP guidelines which are the highest in the permanent cosmetic industry. SPCP (Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals) is the largest international organization for this profession, and only organization in the world that ”officially” approves permanent cosmetic trainers. It is the responsibility of the student to check the laws in their state for licensing. All students are also required to take a Bloodborne Pathogens class and advised to get Hepatitis B inoculations. Upon completion of the Fundamental Training Course, student will receive Certificate of Completion in the Fundamentals of Permanent Cosmetics.

Following the Fundamental Course, an Apprenticeship Program is offered to assist the student in completing the licensing requirements that apply to their state.

FOR STATE OF MISSOURI TATTOO LICENSE, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING:

  • 300 hours training, to include 50 supervised procedures (must be signed off by instructor)
  • BloodBorne Pathogens Standard Course (not provided by Facial Designs)
  • CPR/First Aid Course (not provided by Facial Designs)
  • Copy of your Training Certificate, BloodBorne Pathogens Certificate, and CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • Missouri State form, list of fifty (50) procedures performed, signed by applicant and instructor
  • Missouri State Form of Completion, signed by instructor
